I KNOW i'm a big kid....but there was something about this video that had me in stitches. I think it's knowing how pissed off most of these people would be about seeing themselves like this that makes it so amusing. I was crying...especially with that flickering eye at 42 seconds.... Hope you have a good giggle at least!!

The Moll is 21!
Well, the Molly has finally made it to the bosom of early womanhood and at 21 (for first time!) is officially all growd up!
It’s a wonderful thing, I mean as a parent, to reach this point in the collective life that is your ‘family’ and all that that means.
Socially, we imbue this particular milestone with significance that reflects much that we hope for, and much that we expect in terms of behaviour. In the collective lives that I witness around me, many young adults are, frankly, a little shorter in deliverables than historical expectations….but I guess that was always the same. Perhaps now we are more realistic about the gap between social expectations of responsible behaviour and reality.
So it makes me all the prouder of Molly when I can say with my hand on my heart that I think she’s a wonderful example of someone who DOES display the essence of maturity and moral clarity that will hopefully ensure that she steers a clear path around the driftwood that will pass through her domain as she continues to grow and develop.
It’s not a shock this…she’s always had it, although perhaps not always trusted it. She is the butt of her own jokes, and sometimes by her own admission, the last horse to cross the line when someone tells a joke….she’s not a rocket scientist, and she’s not a chef, she’s not a racer and she’s not a slick talker. Not Moll. But she’s got something that we all love so much, and that’s humility and charm, honesty and laughter, generosity of spirit, and clear sound wisdom about the social complexity that ties so many others in knots. Emotional balance. A wonderful and infectious gift that she will, I hope, appreciate more and more as she continues to understand how [the] trusting [of] it will steer her and keep her safe....
...now that Bunny has less of a role to play:
Walt isn't her constant companion...
...sleepwalking has eased off a bit...
and Josh is around less to 'take care'of her....
She's beginning to break the parental bonds...(a little bit?)
...doesn't go into a catatonic state when her feet are tickled....
and has developed a new look...kinda like this but with the cheeks sucked in...
Nowadays she likes to hold up houses....
...hang out with some questionable characters....
....(although she obviously realises it!)
...and tries to kid all the other girls that she's 'IN' with it....
although sometimes....well...perhaps she may possibly take this too far? I'm not sure for example what this 'game' is about...?
...and moving on....!...
super cool without trying....(much)
Good at forming close bonds with her mates...
being a good sister to Phoebe and Matilda....
and her brother Josh.
She also like to just 'hang'....
look through people....
play 'pass the finger'....
or even thumbs....(always innovative)...
She learnt pass the finger from Josh....
Once she wanted a red guitar....
and got one...and learned to play it... beautifully.
It can't be said that she's shy...of a good party..... and she always like to lead the dancing, wherever that might happen to be....
and her friends always like to hear what she has to say....even if it's just a fart that was coming out as in this case!
oooooh...a fruity one!
....hmmmmn...!
...though there was a time that she would try to deny it....(whilst trying to look through you....)
She's got a bit of penchant for skinny blokes...that wobble about...and try to blend into the background
painting using shells...
trying to turn into a lobster....(in this case she had itchy skin for days! MOLLY!!!! (Daile)
and sucking on jelly fish....
Despite this, she has better taste than her Mum....(snicker)...(Who IS that guy?)
She's interested in things....
....even if it's not cleaning her nails! She likes to think about far away places....
and dream of being a hero...
...although she knows she's always been mine!
That's my girl....
Happy Birthday Moll.....we all love you petal!
